Step 1 – Planning permission

Apply for planning permission, via your local planning office, if required

Step 2 – Local authority permission

Choose your contractor to carry out the works, they must:-

  • Be National Road and Street Works Act Accredited
  • Must provide a 2-year guarantee
  • Must carry public liability insurance to a minimum of £5m
  • Provide a reference number for your application to the local authority – please email or call our office

Step 3 – Submit your application
